Former Argentina National Team coach Alejandro SABELLA made a rare public appearance on Sunday.
Alejandro SABELLA was in attendance to watch his beloved Estudiantes de La Plata team as they played Newell’s Old Boys at home at the Estadio Unico de La Plata. SABELLA has been off the radar after leading Argentina to the World Cup final due to health problems. Now 63, SABELLA is rumored to have gone through cardiovascular problems although the exact situation is unknown. This was SABELLA’s first public appearance in over three years.

Mariano ANDUJAR (part of the current Estudiantes de La Plata setup who has also been part of a few Alejandro coached teams) spoke after the match about having his former coach in attendance.
