It's a debate that goes as far back to the days of the cave people, where people would sit around the fire after a day of hunting and/or gathering and decide whether the people in the surrounding caves were attractive or not. It's just what we do as humans. We judge people's faces. We can't help it.
And now that we have celebrities who are in our TV screens and movies theaters and on our magazines, we have a whole army of attractive people to stare at. And with that staring comes the inevitable question: is this celeb hot or not?
There are so many actors and actresses that the world cannot unanimously decide on regarding their hotness factor. And people will argue to the point of ruined friendships over whether someone like Benedict Cumberbatch or Sarah Jessica Parker is hot or not. It's quite an interesting phenomenon when you find a celeb super sexy, and yet your best friend can barely stand to look at them on the red carpet.
