Lily Allen can be seen returning to the acting scene in the first official trailer - which GLAMOUR has been given the exclusive first look at below - for the upcoming Sky Original Comedy series Dreamland, which looks seriously epic.
After impressing in roles such as How to Build a Girl alongside brother Alfie Allen in 2019 and West End's 2:22 A Ghost Story in 2021, we're looking forward to seeing the 37-year-old singer making her television debut in the new six-part series, which is set in the seriously cool British seaside town of Margate. The location is home to a famous old theme park called Dreamland, which gives the show its title.

What is Dreamland about?
Centred on a group of sisters, Dreamland sees eldest sister Trish desperately hoping for a girl as she finds out she's pregnant for the third time. To make her dreams come true, two of her sisters, their mother and nan, attempt to "manifest" a little girl. However, their plans go awry when their other sister Mel makes an unexpected reappearance, exposing various secrets and lies among the family members.
The official logline for the show reads: "Set in the sun-drenched British seaside town of Margate, it is a dark comedic exploration of multi-generational female relationships, and their (somewhat dysfunctional) family dynamics. Eldest sister Trish is pregnant for the third time with her partner Spence. And this time, she's decided: it's going to be a girl.
