Two people have died in a collision on the A303.
Emergency services were called to the A303 Ilminster by-pass shortly before 8.30 on Thursday morning after reports of a collision between two vehicles.
Two people from one of the vehicles died at the scene, one person from the other vehicle was taken to Frenchay Hospital with serious injuries and a fourth person received a minor injury.
The road was closed for a number of hours so a full investigation could be carried out to establish what happened.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 101.
